How to create a WordPress splash and static home page
For my WordPress website, I wanted an entry splash page, which when clicked, would open the normal static home page. For the remainder of the visit, the visitor should not be bothered with the splash page ofcourse! As I had trouble finding all the answers and understanding them (which can be quite difficult if you’re just starting out with WordPress), I’m posting it here.
