How to solve the compatibility issue between WP Rocket and EU Cookie Law

Upon installing the EU Cookie Law plugin (which is listed on the WP-rocket site as compatible), I encountered an issue which turned out to be between EU Cookie Law and the WP Rocket caching plugin:
The cookie banner would not disappear when clicking the OK (acceptance) button.

This I could resolve by adding the /wp-content/plugins/eu-cookie-law/js/scripts.js script to the exclusions in Java concatenation in the WP Rocket settings.

After that though, the problem still persisted on mobile browsers.
This was resolved with the help of WP-rocket support: By enabling “Auto Block” and “Exclude Scripts” in the EU Cookie Law settings, the issue disappeared.

I’m posting it here so others may get this issue fixed as well!
